Donald Trump New Google Chrome Filter, Blocks Trump From Your Internet
Rob Spectre, a well known internet hacker, developed a Google Chrome filter that will block news about Donald Trump from your internet.
Donald Trump Chrome Filter Blocks Trump News
Trump has been difficult to avoid online, as news about the presidential hopeful continues to bombard the media. However, a new Google Chrome extension called the Trump Filter aims to fix that.
The add-on was launched on Dec. 24 and is available in the Chrome web store.
The filter reportedly has three adjustable levels of filtration — mild, aggressive and vindictive — for the number of Trump references that it finds and eliminates from one’s web browser.
Spectre, explained that he created the filter “out of a profound sense of annoyance and patriotic duty.”
Spectre’s goal behind the extension’s creation is allegedly to transfer the spotlight from Trump to other candidates, as well as the issues America is facing in the lead-up to the 2016 presidential election.
“I hope folks will take this opportunity to learn more about the wide field of candidates out there,” Spectre told CNNMoney. “People are looking to turn him off.”
