Donald Trump Jr. Says It Will Be ‘The End Of Civilization’ If Dad Donald Trump Is Indicted For Jan. 6 Role

Donald Trump Jr. said in an interview that “civilization” will end if his father is charged for inciting the January 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol. 

“This is like the end of the civilization. And, you know, if you look at the timing, most civilizations last 250 years, we’re at about 248 – so we are in serious trouble if we don’t right this ship,” Trump Jr. told Real America’s Voice. 

Many wags on social media did not agree with Trump Jr.’s assessment.

“It’s a risk worth taking,” said one. “Certainly as he knows it. The rest of us survivors will be celebrating,” added another.  

On Monday, Donald Trump revealed on Truth Social that the Department of Justice notified him that he is the subject of investigation in the January 6 attack.

He announced on the app, “Deranged Jack Smith, the prosecutor with Joe Biden’s DOJ, sent a letter (again, it was Sunday night!) stating that I am a TARGET of the January 6 grand jury investigation, and giving me a very short four days to report to the grand jury, which almost always means an arrest and indictment.” 

Special Counsel Smith is currently investigating the incident and is expected to seek charges from a grand jury meeting in D.C. in the next few days.

On Tuesday, Trump Jr. went on Twitter to share Trump’s statement and added some of his own comments. “It never ends! The corrupted bureaucrats of the swamp will do anything to stop my father from fighting for you & putting Americans first,” he wrote. “This is a mockery of justice & our constitution. We are a Third World nation in rapid decline, with only one cure. RE-ELECT DONALD J TRUMP!”

On the same day, Trump Jr. tweeted again, “Rather than endlessly going after their political enemies maybe Jack Smith and Biden’s DOJ would better serve the American people going after the pedophiles on Jeffrey Epstein‘s client list…”
