Donald Trump Gets Into New Twitter War With ‘Morning Joe,’ Threatens To Expose Hosts Joe Scarborough & Mika Brzezinski Relationship Details

Donald Trump did not like what Morning Joe had to say about him Monday and took to Twitter with personal attacks against the show’s hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski.

During the third hour of Morning Joe, Trump tweeted, “Tried watching low-rated @Morning_Joe this morning, unwatchable!” adding in a personal dig at Brzezinski, writing, “@morningmika is off the wall, a neurotic and not very bright mess!”

Scarborough quickly replied to Trump’s tweet with a series of his own. “Neurotic and not very bright?” Look in the mirror,” Scarborough captioned a retweet. He wrote on another retweet of Trump’s comment, “Thanks for watching. Morning Joe is enjoying it’s best ratings ever thanks to obsessed fans like you. GLAD?.”

Scarborough also wrote, “@HillaryClinton is targeting key swing states today while Trump starts his day obsessed with cable news hosts while channeling Gawker. SAD!”

Neither Scarborough nor Brzezinski opted to weigh in on Trump’s second tweet, which seemed to threaten revealing details about their rumored romantic relationship.

“Some day, when things calm down, I’ll tell the real story of @JoeNBC and his very insecure long-time girlfriend, @morningmika,” Trump wrote Monday. “Two clowns!”

It was confirmed back in June that Brzezinski and her husband of 22 years, Jim Hoffer, had divorced. Scarborough divorced from his wife Susan Warren in 2013 after 12 years of marriage.
