Turning himself as Rocky Balboa was not enough for President Donald Trump. Now, he decided to become Avengers villain, Thanos.

On Tuesday, after Nancy Pelosi introduced two articles of impeachment against the president, a verified Twitter account managed by his 2020 election campaign tweeted a video, in which, Trump, as Thanos, declares himself “inevitable” and snaps his fingers turning his rivals, Pelosi and other Democrats, to dust.

“House Democrats can push their sham impeachment all they want. President Trump’s re-election is inevitable,” said the tweet.

Jim Starlin, who created Thanos in 1973, did not enjoy the Trump’s campaign ad, he even felt “violated” after his team used the Marvel villain in a campaign video.

“After my initial feeling of being violated, seeing that pompous fool using my creation to stroke his infantile ego, it finally struck me that the leader of my country and the free world actually enjoys comparing himself to a mass murderer,” Starlin said in a statement. “How sick is that?”

He continued: “These are sad and strange times we are going through. Fortunately all things, even national nightmares, eventually come to an end.”

Marvel fans were quick to point out that the scene from the movie is Thanos’s attempt to destroy all existing life in the Universe, only to discover his gauntlet no longer has the power, and he ends up defeated by the Avengers.

“Trump’s team is presenting him as a narcissistic child-abusing villain intent on wiping out half of all life, AND picked the moment right before Thanos was defeated,” tweeted Gerry Duggan.

“You’re comparing Trump to a genocidal warlord,” said another Twitter user, adding: “That same warlord killed half the universe, tortured one daughter, and murdered the others.”

“The Trump campaign is now comparing the President to Thanos, the genocidal villain from The Avengers. This is bizarre. Even for them. (And they leave out the part where Thanos loses in the end)”

“Y’all realize that Thanos was a intergalactic terrorist who wanted to murder half of living existence, right? Never mind, sounds just like Trump. Carry on.”
