Dolly Parton, 77, was in London yesterday to promote her new album Rockstar and her upcoming memoir Behind the Seams: My Life in Rhinestones.
True to her glitter-filled life, Parton wore a pink dress with silver lines, rhinestoned from top to bottom, silver leggings and silver metallic thigh-high boots.
At her promotional event, she expressed her thoughts on touring – in light of Madonna’s being rushed to the hospital this weekend.
“It’s always been taxing, the reason I don’t tour now is because I don’t want to be that far away from home, we’re getting older and I’ve got a lot of business that I do and the movies that I do,” the country singer said.
Behind the Seams: My Life in Rhinestones is expected to be out on October 17, and Rockstar is set to release a month later on November 17.
