Dojo Cat alarms fans with photo she called a "thirst trap" (Image: Instagram)
Doja Cat is receiving backlash from her fans after she posted an odd “thirst trap” photo of herself on Monday.
The rapper shared a close-up photo without any makeup on. Her bright pink buzzed hair was the focus of the photo, which was aimed at her forehead. She wrote a sleeveless pink top that is low-cut in her bedroom.
She captioned the photo, “thirst trap 😘”
Many users thought this photo was strange commenting, “Weird but pretty.” Another wrote, “Doja, why?”
Others praised the singer for her authenticity writing, “She’s a human! She’s not ashamed of who she is and she’s not a celebrity posting filtered pics!” Another added, “She’s human like all of us, Kardashian could never.”
Another fan wrote, “I’m definitely here for this. Young impressionable girls who see this can realize we all have flaws. We aren’t perfect and they’re fine the way they are!’”
This photo comes months after Doja Cat was slammed for degrading her fans. She even called her last two albums a “money grab.”
This led to her deactivating her Threads account and losing thousands of followers on Instagram over the last few weeks.

Additionally, a few people have deactivated their fan accounts that were dedicated to her on Twitter after they were told to “get a life, get a job, and help your parents with the house” by the singer.
Doja Cat is set to go on tour this year for her The Scarlet Tour, which will start Halloween night. On June 30, she announced the news, but some fans were displeased by her blood-soaked artwork. She called the tour a “sacrifice ritual” and “devil worship show.”
