The ever-expanding universe of George Walton Lucas Jr’s Star Wars is yet again making noise with its latest project. The Mandalorian premiered on Disney + on November 12 and new episodes will be released on a daily basis.

The new television show will follow the life of The Mandalorian (played by Pedro Pascal) as he continues to protect (and investigate) a 50-year-old “person of interest” who may or may not have some relation to Yoda (played by Frank Oz). The Mandalorian had protected the late Yoda’s supposed relative from being killed by bounty hunters, but now has to figure out what his next steps will be.

Yoda, and the rest of his species, has remained quite a mystery throughout the space-opera franchise, but Disney +’s latest show will make an attempt to uncover more of that story.

The series’ cast will include bounty guild chief Greef Carga (played by Carl Weathers), bounty droid IG-11 (voiced by Taika Waititi), Cara Dune (played by Gina Carano) and main villain Mof Gideon (played by Giancarlo Esposito).
