Dimitri Diatchenko, TV Actor, Accused Of Killing And Eating Ex’s Pet Rabbit

Dimitri Diatchenko, an actor, was recently arrested after allegedly killing and eating his ex-girlfriend’s pet rabbit.

Actor Accused Of Eating Ex-GF’s Pet Rabbit

Diatchenko, who has appeared in a wide variety of television shows, including Sons of Anarchy and 2 Broke Girls, was arrested on Dec. 7, and charged with one count of animal cruelty and one count for making criminal threats against his ex, who has not been identified.

According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Diatchenko is accused of killing his ex’s rabbit after they broke up, but continued to live together. He allegedly skinned the rabbit, cooked it and ate it, sending his ex photo updates the entire time. When the ex returned home, Diatchenko reportedly threatened to kill her too. He was arrested later that day and released on a $50,000 bond a day later. Diatchenko is set to appear in court for his arraignment on Dec. 30.

Dimitri Diatchenko Denies Allegations

An unverified Twitter account that appears to be Diatchenko’s posted a short message on Thursday that simply read, “Not True.”

In a TV interview with KCAL, Diatchenko reportedly insisted that the story was false, saying, “This is all a misunderstanding. We got into an argument, but I didn’t kill the bunny.”

According to Diatchenko, he allowed the rabbit to escape and then bought rabbit meat to make it appear as though he had eaten his ex-girlfriend’s pet.
