The 2015 BET Awards on June 28 was full of surprises and plenty of laughs. But, nothing beats the scene of Diddy falling into a hole on stage while performing his greatest hits, as a celebration for the 20th anniversary of Bad Boy Records.
Diddy took the BET stage with Bad Boy recording artists’ Lil Kim, Faith Evans and Mase at the 2015 BET Awards on Sunday. During the middle of the 10-minute performance of Bad Boy Records’ greatest hits, Diddy, who was onstage for the entire performance, accidentally fell in a hole in the stage. Diddy was dancing on the platform close to the crowd, but when he turned back toward the main stage he fell right into the hole.
Even though Diddy jumped back up to continue the performance as if nothing happened — viewers certainly did not forget. The hole was actually an opening in the stage to allow Lil Kim’s flying entrance onto the stage. A minute after Diddy’s fall, Lil Kim rose up from below the stage, through the hole, pleasantly surprising the audience.
Never one to let an embarrassing moment go to waste — social media jumped on the chance to laugh at Diddy’s unfortunate fall by creating hilarious memes.
“I was getting so loose I fell! LOL, but really though I busted my ass! …IF YOU EVER FALL DOWN, get your ass up and FIGHT!!!!!!!,” Diddy posted on instagram.
