Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, the married celeb pair that recently announced their plans to “consciously uncouple,” reportedly may have had an open marriage arrangement.
For years, it’s been speculated that both actress Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Martin carried on affairs outside their marriage. Prior to the announcement of their separation, rumors about an impending split had dramatically increased in volume. Now, it's being alleged that they had an opened marriage, reports People.
Paltrow is alleged to have stepped out on Martin with South Florida billionaire Jeffrey Soffer back in 2008, spending a considerable amount of time at the bachelor’s abode after attending the reopening of his Fontainebleau hotel. Another loud rumor involved entertainment lawyer Kevin Yorn. Glee producer Brad Falchuk was reportedly also in the mix.
As for Martin, reports have surfaced that he cheated frequently throughout his marriage to the Shakespeare in Love actress. He allegedly was seen out with other Hollywood blonds.
Most of the individuals named as carrying on affairs with Paltrow and Martin have denied the allegations through reps. Some have even threatened legal action if the reports continued.
Paltrow and Martin, parents to Apple, 9, and Moses, 8, announced their split in a joint statement released on March 25 before jetting off to the Bahamas for a vacation with their kids.
