Frances Bean Cobain, the daughter of late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, has reportedly married her boyfriend Isaiah Silva.

Cobain and Silva tied the knot in a secret ceremony with only a select group of witnesses, which did not include Love, according to the Daily Mirror. Following the nuptials, Cobain reportedly called her mother to inform her that she’d wed the Eeries singer. Though Love was supposedly “sad” to learn she wasn’t there to see her daughter married, she is said to like Silva.

“Frances is totally loved up with Isaiah, but she’s never been one to broadcast it to the world,” a source told the Mirror. “She only invited a close circle of friends to the party, and then phoned her mom afterwards to tell her the good news.”

“Courtney and Frances have had a strained relationship over the years, but after tons of fallouts they actually get on quite well now,” the source added. “Courtney is sad she wasn’t there but she totally understands that Frances is her own person and she’s happy to let her do her own thing. Plus, Isaiah is a really nice guy.”
