One failed marriage is enough for Diane Kruger, 34.
The Inglourious Basterds actress may have been cuddling up to Fringe's Joshua Jackson, 32, for the past four years, but that's not enough to get her to tie the knot. "I was married very young," Kruger told Glamour. "We were together seven years," she said of her previous union with French actor Guillaume Canet, who is now expecting a child with actress Marion Cotillard.
The split had a lasting effect on Kruger. "Without sounding pessimistic, I learned that I don't believe in marriage. I believe in a commitment that you make in your heart. There's no paper that will make you stay. A guy friend of mine said, and it made a lot of sense, that people should get married at the end of the road, not the beginning."
Even so, the German beauty is enjoying the simple life with Jackson, who is easy to entertain. "We go shopping. But he likes it," she said. —KIMBERLY STEELE
