The tour promotes the band’s new album, Memento Mori, which was released last month. It’s Depeche Mode’s first album in five years and the first since the passing of founding member Andy Fletcher.

Depeche Mode rose to fame in the electronic and alternative music scenes with the release of Black Celebration and Music for the Masses in the late 80s. In 1990, they came out with Violator, a synth-pop LP that became an international and mainstream success.

They have 54 songs on the UK Singles Chart and 17 Top 10 albums in the UK. The band was also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020.
