Denzel Washington Gives $1 Mil To Youth Charity

Denzel Washington stunned guests at the 1st annual Steve Harvey Foundation Gala Wednesday night. When the two-time Academy Award-winning actor went to collect an award, he also dropped off a check for a cool $1 million to Harvey’s foundation, which helps to mentor young men from poor neighborhoods.

"We don’t usually make announcements about what we do, but we are going to put $1 million toward your organization," Washington said, according to BlackVoices.com. "What [Harvey] and his wife are doing is too important…. Anything we can do, I will be there. And anything we can do financially, we will do."
