Dennis Rodman Defends Wearing Miniskirt To LGBTQ Pride Parade In Houston After Negative Fan Reaction

Dennis Rodman was recently spotted participating in the LGBTQ Pride Parade in Houston, Texas in a miniskirt.

After the parade, he went onto Instagram to share a video and some photos he took while at the event. He captioned the post, “Love will Always Win🌈Happy Pride #gaypride #loveislove #pridemonth”

Rodman posted a video and two photos of him in the parade shaking people’s hands with a smile on his face. The former basketball player was wearing a green plaid mini-skirt and a black shirt that features a photo of his face in rainbow colors. He accessorized with a smiley-face baseball hat, oversized sunglasses and rainbow heart socks.

Rodman received some backlash over the post, with one person commenting, “instant respect loss and unfollow.”

Others came to Rodman’s defense saying, “I admire Dennis for being man enough to not care what people think. Thank you for actually caring enough to show that pride lives on.”

Rodman defended his actions on his Instagram stories after seeing the negative comments. He captioned it, “Do your research guys #beenhim.”

He shared photos that featured him wearing a wedding dress while he was still playing for the NBA. Additionally, he posted pictures of him wearing more feminine outfits that were seen as controversial at the time.
