Denise Richards Voluntarily Reduced Charlie Sheen’s Child Support Payments
Charlie Sheen recently has filed an official request to lower child support payments to his two ex-wives, Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller. Sheen stated that dwindling funds are preventing him fully paying the amount previously agreed upon, but The Blast reports that Richards already gave him a break two years ago.

Originally, Sheen was paying both Richards and Mueller $55,000 a month for his four children (two daughters with Richards and two sons with Mueller). In 2016, however, Richards voluntarily agreed to lower Sheen’s payments to $20,000 a month in light of her ex-husband’s financial troubles. The two did not bring the issue to court.

In 2010, Sheen was the most highly paid TV actor in Hollywood, earning $1.8 million per episode of Two and a Half Men. According to The Blast, Sheen is now claiming that he only makes $2,426 per month as a result of having been “blacklisted” in the entertainment industry. Sheen also owes millions in back payments to his lawyers, the IRS, his mortgage and home pool and gardening services. Richards recently signed onto Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and might soon be making more money than her ex-husband anyway. A court date to discuss Sheen’s child support payments is scheduled for September.
