Denise Richards revealed details about a road rage shooting incident from last November, in which she and her husband, Aaron Phypers, were involved.
While appearing as a guest on Jeff Lewis Live on SiriusXM, the Real Housewives alum recalled her husband driving her to set in Los Angeles, and that although she “wouldn’t say it was road rage,” they were definitely “at the wrong place at the wrong time,” and believed the perpetrator thought they were someone else.

After a bullet hit the back of their truck, the couple continued driving until they were forced to stop when the perpetrator kept following them, eventually blocking them in.
“I was literally on the floor, almost peeing my pants. I’m not joking,” Richards recalled from when they pulled over. Admitting that she “did not handle it well”, and was “screaming like a lunatic,”
Richards nearly ran out of the truck when she realized the perpetrator had a gun. Pulling her back, he warned her, “If you run out of this truck, you’re gonna get shot.”
She then recalled Phypers pulled down the window, put his hands up, and asked the shooter, “I don’t know what you’re upset at. I’m just trying to take my wife to work.”
Scared for their lives, Richards explained that she sat up and began pleading with the shooter. “Please, I don’t know what we did, but he’s just trying to take me to work.”
The reality tv star is sure that it was a case of mistaken identity because after that the shooter looked at them both, raised his windows, and drove away.
