Demi Lovato Goes Undercover As Lyft Driver, Goes Unrecognized

Demi Lovato recently went undercover as a Lyft driver in Denver, Colorado, where she was performing a concert show with touring partner Nick Jonas.

Lovato managed to disguise herself with just a hat and sunglasses to successfully go undercover as a driver for ride app Lyft. “It’s a job, like, cool for the summer,” Lovato said to one oblivious passenger.

One of Lovato’s passengers was a big fan of the singer, who had been following her since her Camp Rock days and even managed to belt out a couple of songs with Lovato. “I actually really want to be a singer somebody,” Lovato told the passenger, who was none the wiser about who was driving her around. “I’ve actually been traveling the country with my ex-boyfriend’s brother because he sings too. We really want to get our names out there. Open mic nights and anything we can do.”

When the girl admitted that she had actually met Lovato once before, the singer dropped her sunglasses and told her, “Well, it’s good to see you again.”

One of Lovato’s other passengers wasn’t quite as big of a fan. “I like that “Confident” song. That’s a jam but…” the girl said before agreeing with the disguised Lovato that Selena Gomez is a much better singer. When the girl learned that she was actually talking to Lovato, she profusely apologized.

“I just insulted the hell out of you!” she said. “I’m so sorry!”
