Pop star Demi Lovato got engaged to her boyfriend Jordan Lutes, the singer confirmed on social media on Monday.
“I’m still speechless,” Lovato captioned the post. “Last night was the best night of my life and I can’t believe I get to marry the love of my life.”
“My love, I’m beyond excited to marry you… every day I’ve spent with you has been a dream come true,” Lovato continued, “and I can’t wait to love and cherish you forever. Here’s to the rest of our lives. I love you, baby.”
Lovato and Lutes first met back in 2022, with Lutes working as a writer on Lovato’s most recent album.
Marriage rumors between the two started circulating in June when Lovato addressed Lutes as “my f…my boyfriend” at a June concert.
Lovato talked about her relationship with Lutes in a September LadyGang podcast, recalling that she was immediately attracted to him.
“He came into the session and I literally was like, ‘Who is this guy?’ I texted my friends and was like, ‘Oh my God, the hottest guy just walked In. I am so nervous. I don’t know what to do with myself.’”
Lovato was recently in the news after firing her long-time manager, Scooter Braun.
