The lead singer of the Monkees, known for such hits as "Daydream Believer" and "Last Train to Clarksville," has died. Davy Jones, 66, passed away after suffering a heart attack in Florida Wednesday morning, according to USA Today.

Jones is survived by his wife Jessica and four daughters from previous marriages. He joined The Monkees in 1965, with Micky Dolenz, Michael Nesmith and Peter Tork.
