Actor David Koechner has been arrested for the second time in five months for suspected driving under the influence of alcohol.

The Anchorman star was pulled over in Lawrence County, Ohio on June 4. He was taken into custody by the state’s Highway Patrol.

Officers pulled over the 59-year-old at 1:47 a.m. They noticed he was “operating a vehicle while impaired under the influence of alcohol/drug abuse.”

Body-cam footage shows the officer who spoke with Koechner told another officer that he could “smell the alcohol when I walked up to the car.” He also appeared to have “glossy eyes.”

According to the arrest report, Koechner refused to be tested for blood-alcohol concentration. He must now appear in person at Lawrence Municipal Court for a hearing on July 8.

Koechner told the officer that he was on tour, coming from Cincinnati, and had only had “one beer” that evening. He said he was on his way to Comic-Con in West Virginia.

This second incident follows his last DUI charge on New Year’s Eve in Simi Valley, California. He allegedly hit a street sign with his car that evening.

He was booked in Ventura County Jail and was charged with one count of DUI and one count of hit-and-run.
