Dave Grohl performs with broken leg – Foo Fighters
Dave Grohl, the frontman of the Foo Fighters, sang The Beatles’ “Blackbird” during this year’s Oscar In Memoriam tribute. Grohl performed alongside the Oscar band giving an acoustic version of the song.
Wes Craven, David Bowie, Alan Rickman, and Leonard Nimoy were among the actors recognized in the montage.
As Grohl strummed the somber song, photos and voiceovers played behind him made up of the Hollywood actors, actresses, writers, directors and support staff who have passed this year.
