Dashboard Confessional, the rock band formed in Boca Raton, Florida, includes lead singer Chris Carrabba, pianist John Lefler, guitarist Armon Jay, drummer Christopher Kamrada and bassist Scott Schoenbeck. The band’s name was inspired by lyrics in its “The Sharp Hint of New Tears” track off their debut album, The Swiss Army Romance. The rock band went on to produce six more studio albums. Today, A Mark, a Mission, a Brand, a Scar remains to be its most commercially successful album and most critically acclaimed, as it has reached No. 2 on the United States Billboard charts.

The band’s latest project, “Now Is Then Is Now,” involved rerecording its most popular albums:
Dusk and Summer (Now Is Then Is Now), After the Ending (Now Is Then Is Now) and A Mark, a Mission, a Brand, a Scar (Now Is Then Is Now). In addition, the band released their latest single “Screaming Infidelities (Acoustic)” in July 2019.
