Danny Masterson is leaving Netflix’s The Ranch amid allegations of rape.

DANNY MASTERSON LEAVES THE RANCH

His exit comes after four women have accused the actor of rape. The LAPD and LA County District Attorney are currently investigating the claims. Masterson has denied all claims.

“As a result of ongoing discussions, Netflix and the producers have written Danny Masterson out of The Ranch,” Netflix released in a statement Tuesday. “Yesterday was his last day on the show, and production will resume in early 2018 without him.”

Part four of The Ranch is set to debut on Netflix on Dec. 15, with additional episodes coming in 2018. While the streaming service usually divides the series into 10-episode batches, it’s unknown how many episodes will premiere this month and how many will be held until next year. Masterson is not expected to appear in any being released after Dec. 15.

Masterson has also served as an executive producer, so it is also unknown what will happen to his credit. The Ranch at one time was Netflix’s only multi-camera comedy. Now Fuller HouseOne Day at a Time, and Disjointed have joined that category. The Ranch stars Masterson and fellow That ’70s Show alum Ashton Kutcher, as well as Debra Winger and Sam Elliott.

News of Masterson’s exit comes just one day after Netflix’s content chief Ted Sarandos confirmed that House of Cards will resume shooting in 2018 for it’s sixth and final season, this one set to star Robin Wright.
