The stars of the new staging of Macbeth on Broadway, Daniel Craig and Ruth Negga took to the red carpet Thursday night to celebrate the public premiere of the show. Hopefully, none of them will say Craig’s character’s name out loud before the play starts, or they’ll be cursed!

The two kept it classic with Craig sporting a dark suit, with a grey tie and white pocket square, while Negga had on a pale pink sheer dress with matching gloves.
Craig recently portrayed Iago in the 2019 Broadway adaptation of Othello, and while Negga is no stranger to Shakespeare, with her having played Ophelia and then, well Prince Hamlet in different stagings of Hamlet in the U.K., this will be her Broadway debut as Lady Macbeth.
As for their upcoming projects, Craig will be reprising his role as the detective Benoit Blanc in Knives Out 2 set for a late 2022 release. Negga is set to star in and executive produce a limited series about Josephine Baker with ABC Signature.
