Danica McKellar, the Wonder Years actress and Dancing with the Stars alum, revealed through social media that she’d recently become engaged on Thursday.

McKellar, 39, announced the engagement news with a picture of herself pointing at the new diamond ring on her left hand. “So… can you guess what my big news is??” she asked on Instagram.

McKellar later took to Twitter to confirm that her boyfriend, lawyer Scott Svelosky, had in fact asked her to marry him. “Yep, my amazing boyfriend Scott and I are engaged!!” she wrote before noting that her DWTS partner Val Chmerkovskiy had mentioned him during her stint on the show. “(He's the one @iamvalc did a shout out to on #DWTS) 🙂 Hugs to you all!”

"Scott and I are thrilled," McKeller said in a statement, adding that she and Svelosky are “looking forward to merging our families.”

McKellar was previously married to composer Mike Verta, with whom she has a 3-year-old son named Draco.
