Danell Leyva's body, which some have suggested is not ideally suited to gymnastics, is getting a lot of media attention — both for Leyva's Olympic blunders and victories, and the fact that it is plastered all over Twitter.
Leyva, who disproved all of his doubters when he won the bronze in the men's gymnastics all-around event last week, is fond of sending half-naked photographs to his female followers on Twitter, but he has yet to reveal snapshots that warrant anything beyond an R rating.
But Leyva has more to worry about than whether or not his fans are gazing at his shirtless body. He is preparing to compete in four of the six individual apparatus finals on Tuesday afternoon, including the parallel bars, one of his best events. Though comeback kid Leyva is technically only a reserve for the bars, he may still have a shot at going for the gold.
