Dancing With the Stars' Latin night saw country artist Kellie Pickler rise to the top of the leader board with her samba with pro partner Derek Hough. Adding up her scores from past performances and her 29 points from last night, Pickler earned immunity from Tuesday night's elimination. Bruno Tonioli gushed, "It was the perfect balance of the technique and the performance."
Olympic gold medalist, gymnast Aly Raisman, danced a salsa with partner Mark Ballas. Despite suffering from a sprained back injury, Ballas guided Riasman through the complicated moves to a score of 29 points.
Although Carrie Ann Inaba said her "lines were gorgeous," Zendaya Coleman needed to keep her chin up more during her Paso Doble with Val Chmerkovskiy. She ended up with 9 points a piece front he judges for a total of 27 points. Also with 27 points was Baltimore Ravens player Jacoby Jones, who performed a salsa that Len Goodman said was "fabulous." Host Tom Bergeron couldn't even help but be wowed by the athlete's turn on the dance floor.
Ingo Rademacher, the former General Hospital star, and pro Kym Johnson danced a rumba for 25 points. Although Kym's hip action was impeccable, it wasn't enough to make up for Ingo's stiff movements. "They say hips don't lie; in your case I wish they could," quipped Bruno. Bruno also had some fun commenting on Sean Lowe's rumba with Peta Murgatroyd. He had a problem with Sean's "bum sticking out like he was going to the toilet." The judges ultimately gave them straight 8's for 24 points.
Once again, Andy Dick found himself in last place with the judges. His rumba with pro partner Sharna Burgess, although harshly critiqued by the judges, served to amuse the crowd. Instead of trying to go for sex appeal like his fellow male competitors, Andy took on a more comedic Latin lover. The judges were so unimpressed that they gave the comedian a measly 17 points for his efforts.
In the dance off round of the night, the stars and their partners faced off 2v2 for an additional three points. Andy and Sharna lost to Aly and Mark dancing the cha cha. Zendaya and Val bested Jacoby and Karina in what was likely the closest matchup, and Ingo and Kym defeated Sean and Peta for the additional 3 points.
Will Andy be the next star to go on tonight's Dancing With the Stars?
