‘Dancing With The Stars: Athletes’ Reveal Who Will Be Joining Season 26

This season of Dancing With The Stars is sure to be extra competitive, as the competition’s roster is full of former Olympians and professional athletes.

On Good Morning America, the ten dance partner pairings were revealed for the upcoming 26th season.

70-year-old retired NBA player Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who played 20 seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks will be joining Lindsay Arnold, who won season 25 of DWTS.

Johnny Damon, a retired MLB player, who played for seven different teams in the past 17 years will be dancing with Emma Slater, who won the Mirror Ball trophy back in season 24.

The figure skating bronze medalist from the recent Olympic Winter Games Mirai Nagasu will be competing along side fan-favorite dancer Alan Bernsten, who joined the cast just last season.

Team USA’s Olympic luger Chris Mazdzer will be partnering up with season 19 winner Witney Carson.

Current cornerback for the Washington Redskins Josh Norman will be joining Sharna Burgess in competing for the Mirror Ball trophy.

Olympic softball pitcher who brought home the gold for Team USA in the 2004 Olympic Games and silver in the 2008 Olympic Games Jennie Finch will be partnering up with fan-favorite Keo Motsepe.

Infamous Olympic figure skater, as well as center of the Nancy Kerrigan (who was part of the season 24 cast) attack scandal back in 1994, Tonya Harding will be joining Sasha Farber this season.

Jamie Anderson, professional snowboarder with three Olympic medals, will be on the dance floor this season with Artem Chigvintsev. 

The beloved figure skating bronze medalist from the Pyeonchang Olympic Games Adam Rippon will be partnering up with professional dancer Jenna Johnson.

Women’s college basketball legend and current University of Notre Dame junior Arike Ogunbowale will be dancing alongside DWTS veteran Gleb Savchenko.

With a cast full of athletes, this may be the show’s most intense season yet. Watch the 26th season of Dancing With The Stars on ABC on April 30 at 8 p.m. EST.
