Dancing With the Stars returned this week live from Hollywood with Rumer Willis sitting atop the leaderboard and Charlotte McKinney and Redfoo hoping to get one more week in the competition.

Dancing With The Stars Recap

The Bachelor‘s Chris Soules and Witney Carson did a cha-cha. Though Chris did a surprisingly good job last week, he seemed a little bit less comfortable with the Latin dance. While he has a natural rhythm, he has trouble keeping to the steps. Scores: 5+6+5+5=21

Suzanne Somers took on a jive with Tony Dovolani to Jerry Lee Lewis’ “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On.” Suzanne was more than happy to bring some sexiness to the dance, playing into the cougar vibe of the routine. The judges thought she definitely improved from last week. Scores: 7+7+7+7=28

Robert Herjavec and his pro partner and rumored love interest Kym Johnson danced a foxtrot to “You Make Me Feel So Young” that started off with a campy picnic scene. Once again the business man seemed to have fun with the dance, grinning ear-to-ear throughout. Though the dancing wasn’t great, the judges thought the routine was cute. Scores: 7+7+7+7=28

Charlotte McKinney and Keo Motsepe did a cha-cha to Katy Perry’s “California Girls”. Looking to improve upon their bottom of the leaderboard scores from last week, Keo tried to bring a bit more fun to the routine. McKinney’s footwork was still sloppy, but the judges were happy to see some progress. Scores: 7+6+7+6=26

Michael Sam and Peta Murgatroyd did a foxtrot to “Working My Way Back To You.” The athlete, decked out in a sequined red jacket Monday night, had strong lines and extensions throughout the dance. The judges thought he did a commendable job with the ballroom dance. Scores: 7+7+7+7=28

Rumer Willis and Val Chmerkovskiy did an energetic cha-cha to the tune of Adele’s “Rumer Has It.” Proving that her impressive performance during Dancing With the Star’s opening week was no fluke, Rumer once again looked like a natural on the dance floor. The judges had a lot of praise for Rumer, especially when it came to her legs. Scores: 8+8+8+8=32

Redfoo and Emma Slater’s jive to “My Sharona” had him playing a mechanic, rocking jean overalls. As for the dancing, Redfoo gave it his all, bringing a lot of energy to the routine. However, his technique needed improvement, particularly when it came to his extensions. Scores: 8+7+8+8=31

Willow Shields and Mark Ballas danced an Argentine Tango to “Somebody That I Used to Know.” Drawing inspiration from the music video, Mark choreographed a dance where they started off blending into a painting. As the dancing started, it became clear that Willow was far more comfortable on the dance floor, delivering a mature performance that showed she could be a contender. Scores: 8+8+8+8=32

Doing a samba to “Homegrown Honey” by Darius Rucker was Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess. Noah, feeling a bit more at ease this week, embraced the country-theme of the dance that was dedicated to his girlfriend. The judges were once again wowed by Noah’s efforts. Scores: 7+6+7+7=27

Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough danced a rumba to Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud.” Derek decided to go without elaborate staging and backup dancers for the stripped down performance that showed what Liukin can do. Her technique was nearly impeccable and her graceful movements wowed the judges. Scores: 9+8+8+9=34

Riker Lynch and Allison Hoker did a foxtrot to Maroon 5’s “Sugar.” The romantic routine started off on a lamp lit bridge before they brought the dancing to the dance floor. Hoker, incorporating some more modern moves, gave Riker a chance to thrive in the classic ballroom dance. Scores: 8+8+8+8=32

Patti La Belle, dancing to 50 Cent’s “In Da Club,” performed a Salsa with Artem Chigvintsev. Starting off with a white fur coat sitting on a couch, La Belle got up to do a hip-hop inspired Latin dance that got the crowd up on their feet. “All hail Queen Patti La Belle,” Carrie Ann Inaba shouted at the end of the number. Scores: 7+7+7+7=28

In the end, though Charlotte had the worst scores from last week and came in second to last this week, Redfood and Emma were eliminated.
