Teen dancer Maddie Ziegler, known for judging on Dance Moms and So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation, as well as back-up dancing for Sia, is launching her own clothing line on Oct. 3.
Simply named Maddie, the line will consist of 30 pieces and rock the tagline “wear what moves you.” Ziegler’s favorite styles will of course be available by Maddie, including baseball tees, slouchy sweaters, bomber jackets, flannels and high-wasted jeans.
“I was inspired by my own personal style to create a line that is casual and tomboyish yet girly,” said Ziegler. “The looks are comfy and versatile, with pieces you can mix and match. These are all pieces you can dance in; I want everyone to feel comfortable and not restrictive, hence the saying ‘wear what moves you.’ I have a team and a style panel of girls that I work closely with to share ideas, study trends, and learn from each other to ensure the line is super strong and relevant for today.”
Prices will range from $25-$150 and sizes from 7 – 16 for girls and 1, 3 and 5 for juniors. The collection will be available on maddiestyle.com on Oct. 3 and in select Nordstrom stores on Oct. 10.
