Model Katarina Miketin, 42, announced on her Instagram that she and Dallas Cowboys coach Mike Zimmer, 68, are engaged, sharing her excitement with her followers with a romantic post.

“Five years ago, they told us we need to meet,” she wrote. “God knew what he was doing; I thank him for you, my best friend. So, of course.”

The post included a photo of Miketin revealing an oval-cut diamond engagement ring, along with other images of the pair performing romantic activities together, including having dinner together and going horseback riding.

Miketin is a successful model and entrepreneur. She has graced the cover of Maxim twice and owns OneTen Cycles in Minnesota. She has a daughter from a previous relationship.

Zimmer, now the Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator, was reportedly seen dating Miketin in 2021. Zimmer was previously married to Vikki Zimmer, who passed away at 50 in 2009, “She was the sweetest, kindest, most caring person who’d never say a bad word about anybody,” Zimmer said in an interview with ESPN.

News of the engagement comes two years after Zimmer’s son, Adam Zimmer, was tragically found dead in his Minnesota home at 38. Autopsies revealed the cause of death to be chronic alcohol abuse.

Adam’s sister and Mike’s daughter, Corri Zimmer White, shared a heartbreaking post on her Instagram, calling her brother “the kindest, sweetest, family-loving, sports-obsessed soul there ever was.”

During a press conference in December 2024, Zimmer called his son – an assistant coach for the Cincinnati Bengals – “a terrific kid.”

Fighting back tears, Zimmer said, “he was smart and loved football. He would’ve given his left arm to do this. I know he’s upstairs looking down on me, cheering every Sunday.”
