Pop star Pink shared the stage with her 13-year-old daughter, Willow, on Thursday, performing a duet at the 2024 DNC in Chicago’s United Center.
The mother-daughter pair sang Pink’s 2017 hit “What About Us” on the final day of the convention. Dressed in matching all-black outfits, the duo showcased their musical bond before the political gathering.
This performance marks a significant moment for Willow, who recently stepped back from her mother’s Summer Carnival Tour to pursue theater. Pink, whose real name is Alecia Beth Hart Moore, announced in June that Willow would be starring in a production of Bye Bye Birdie back home.
Willow is no novice to the stage. She has previously joined her mother in concert, including a performance in Australia earlier this year. The teenager has also lent her voice to recorded tracks, covering “A Million Dreams” for The Greatest Showman: Reimagined in 2018 and duetting with Pink on “Cover Me in Sunshine” in 2021.
Pink, 44, has been supportive of her daughter’s musical endeavors. Last year, she shared a video of Willow, then 11, covering an Olivia Rodrigo song at her first recital.
The Grammy-winning artist is currently on her Summer Carnival Tour, which continues through November. Her next stop is scheduled for August 24 at Chicago’s Soldier Field, with the tour concluding on November 20 in Columbia, South Carolina.
Pink and her husband, Carey Hart, whom she married in 2006, are also parents to seven-year-old son, Jameson.
