Friends fall out sometimes and this appears to be the case between Selena Gomez and Francia Raisa.

Back in 2017, Raisa donated a kidney to the singer when she fell very ill with lupus.

A new documentary My Mind And Me tells of Gomez’s struggle to overcome her illness. The falling out occurred over Gomez’s strange exclusion of Raisa in the documentary.

Gomez added fuel to the fire when she told Rolling Stone magazine that Taylor Swift is her only celebrity friend in the industry.

Raisa is best known for her role on shows such as Grown-ish and The Secret Life of An American Teenager.

Raisa unfollowed Gomez on Instagram following the snub and left a comment under a E! News post, where Gomez talked about Swift, simply saying “Interesting.”

Gomez wrote back under one of Raisa’s TikTok videos. “Sorry I didn’t mention every person I know,” she said.

Raisa has since deleted her comment to Gomez on Instagram. Gomez has not unfollowed her former best friend.

After the surgery both women shared their concerns to each other.

Gomez texting Raisa, “I’m so scared I might die.”

A complication with the kidney forced the actress to have yet another surgery.

A joke gone wrong in the Saved By The Bell reboot about who really donated the kidney had Gomez racing to her now-former best friend’s defense.

A year later, the two were each other’s throats with Raisa calling out Gomez for her “unhealthy lifestyle.”

Raisa has spoken out about changes in her own life due to the kidney donation.

Doctors said they were concerned about the inability of the donor to “consume as much protein” as before.

Gomez and Raisa have labeled each other sisters over the course of their 10-year friendship but even with their history, the pair’s future seems to be uncertain.

Gomez’s documentary My Mind And Me is streaming on AppleTV+.
