Gigi Dior, a porn actor known for her adult movies usually relating to “hot MILFs”, is in hot water due to a recent dispute with a French company Christian Dior Couture.

Last year, she claimed to have trademarked the name, “Gigi Dior,” though the French fashion house has now filed for the trademark to be overturned.

The adult film star has been in the industry for two years. Christian Dior is a 75-year-old company.

“This is ridiculous, my name has nothing to do with couture and, funny part is, what I do usually involves wearing no clothes at all,” the actress responded in her filing.

She also defended her stage name.

“I trademarked my stage name for entertainment and modeling purposes, I had to show proof of what I was using the name for, so I used appearances at exotica, and a website for confirmation, my request was granted,” she said. “A couple of weeks ago, on Oct. 18.”

The Paris-based fashion house provided its reasoning for its decision, claiming there to be a “likelihood of confusion, dilution by blurring” and they also claimed there to be “dilution by tarnishment.”

If the trademark is overturned, the porn actor, will have to “start again,” at least in reference to her merchandise and marketing.

“I’m devastated, and it is ridiculous,” she said. Not only is there a filing involved but now a lawsuit could force the actor to spend a lot of her own money.

Lawyers for the Paris fashion house have remained quiet when asked about the lawsuit, but the actress left a plea on Twitter to her followers to “spread the word.”

“CHRISTIAN DIOR is appealing my APPROVED US Patent and Trademark on my name Gigi Dior,” she wrote.
