New Revelations About Armie Hammer’s Alleged Sexual Abuse Emerge In ‘House Of Hammer’ Documentary

Armie Hammer, known for movies like Call Me By Your Name and Death on the Nile, spent years acting in Hollywood, but his career and personal life took a sad turn after he and his wife of 10 years, Elizabeth Chambers, separated due to Hammer’s infidelity in July 2020.

Soon after that, concerning allegations of rape and interest in cannibalism surrounded Hammer as victims, beginning with a woman known as Effie, began speaking out on their interactions with Hammer on social media.

Discovery+ premiered a three-part docuseries on Friday, House of Hammer, that delves into Hammer’s behavior and the toxic patterns that can be seen throughout Hammer’s family line as his ancestors ascended to oil tycoon status.

The series will feature Hammer’s aunt, Casey Hammer, as well as some of Hammer’s ast girlfriends.

It also addresses threatening notes and text messages that Hammer wrote.

Hammer has rejected the allegations against him, contending that all sexual activity he took part in was consensual.

“From day one, Mr. Hammer has maintained that all of his interactions with [Effie]—and every other sexual partner of his for that matter—have been completely consensual, discussed and agreed upon in advance, and mutually participatory. [Effie’s] attention seeking and ill-advised legal bid will only make it more difficult for real victims of sexual violence to get the justice they deserve,” Hammer’s lawyer, Andre Brettler, told E!.

Effie has condemned the filmmakers for exploiting “such a tragic vulnerable time in many people’s lives.”

There have not yet been any charges filed agaisnt him.

“Once law enforcement has completed their investigation and submits the case to our Office,”  Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office spokesman Greg Risling told E! earlier this week. “We will conduct an evaluation and file criminal charges that are supported by the evidence.”
