Vince Neil‘s girlfriend, Rain Andreani, was severely injured after her boyfriend’s private jet crashed into a parked plane at the Scottsdale Municipal Airport in Arizona.

“A Learjet 35A veered off the runway after landing and crashed into a Gulfstream 200 business jet on the ramp at Scottsdale Municipal Airport in Arizona around 2:45 p.m. local time Monday, Feb. 10,” the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said in a statement. “Four people were on board the Learjet and one person was on board the Gulfstream. The FAA and NTSB will investigate. The NTSB will lead the investigation and will provide all updates.”

Airport officials believe the private jet’s left main landing gear failed while it was landing, causing the collision.

Mötley Crüe’s manager confirmed that Neil was not on the plane with Andreani, and the band noted that the pilot died.

Andreani and her friend, Ashley, had been on the plane and are in the hospital. Andreani broke five ribs. The dogs the women were traveling with also survived the incident.

Emergency personnel soon responded and airport runways had been temporarily closed during the investigation.

The private plane’s registered owner is Chromed in Hollywood, a company which is owned by Neil.

On Tuesday, the frontman’s representative, Worrick Robinson IV, wrote on X that “more specific details regarding the collision are not available as this is a rapidly evolving situation and there is an ongoing investigation.”

“Mr. Neil’s thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved, and he is grateful for the critical aid of all first responders assisting today,” Robinson added.

In 2016, Neill was charged with misdemeanor battery for attacking a female fan.
