Melania Trump Sells $150 ‘Collector’s Edition’ Of Her New Memoir ‘The Truth,’ Promises To Correct ‘Misrepresentations’
Former First Lady Melania Trump has revealed that she will release a new memoir in which she promised to share “the truth.”
Melania’s office announced that her 256-page memoir, Melania, will be released on October 8. The book is “a powerful and inspiring story of a woman who has carved her own path, overcome adversity and defined personal excellence.”
The book will be published by Skyhorse Publishing.
She is selling preorder signed copies of the book on her website for $75. A collector’s edition copy, bonus photographs, and a digital collectible can be purchased for $150.
“In her memoir, Melania reflects on her Slovenian childhood, the pivotal moments that led her to the world of high fashion in Europe and New York, and the serendipitous meeting with [former President] Donald Trump, a chance encounter that forever changed the course of her life,” the book’s description on Skyhorse Publishing’s website states. “Melania opens up about their courtship, life in the spotlight, and experiencing the joy of motherhood. She shares behind-the-scenes stories from her time in the White House, shedding light on her advocacy work and the causes close to her heart.”
“Melania offers an unprecedented look into her time as a First Lady who was born outside the United States – a role she embraced with honor and dedication,” it reads. “It brings readers into her world and presents an in-depth account of a woman who has led a remarkable life on her own terms. Melania Trump’s story is one of resilience and independence, showcasing her strength and unwavering commitment to her true self.”
On September 5, Melania posted a video on X in which she talked about how it felt to write her memoir.
“Writing this memoir has been a deeply and reflective journey for me,” she stated in the video. “As a private person who has often been the subject of public scrutiny and misrepresentation, I feel a responsibility to clarify the facts.”
“I believe it is important to share my perspective: the truth,” the former first lady added.
The words “My Story,” “My Perspective” and “The Truth” then flashed on the screen after this statement was made.
The black-and-white video promoting Melania’s memoir shows clips and photographs from her time in office, including her trips abroad, tackling public duties with her husband, and her interactions with children.
The X post also linked to a page to preorder the memoir.
A financial disclosure report filed in August revealed that Melania earned $237,000 in compensation for a single speaking engagement with the Log Cabin Republicans in April 2024.
She also has a licensing agreement with the Designers Manager to sell her NFTs, earning her $330,607.
The disclosure focused on Melania’s significant property portfolio, including residential real estate holdings in New York valued between $500,001 and $1,000,000 and rental income from a property in Ljubljana, Slovenia, ranging from $15,001 to $50,000.
On top of these earnings, the former first lady has another $250,000 savings account.
In late August, Melania made a public appearance when pictures were captured of her arriving at Trump Tower in New York City on August 21 while the former president was at a rally in North Carolina.
