‘General Hospital’ Star Haley Pullos Released From Jail After Serving 90 Days For DUI Crash That Resulted In Serious Injuries

Haley Pullos, known for her role in the long-running daytime drama General Hospital, was released from jail Monday after serving a 90-day sentence for a drunk driving incident that occurred last year.

Pullos, 26, appeared before a judge wearing standard-issue prison attire for her sentencing hearing. The court mandated five years of probation following her release, according to her attorney, Dan Melnick.

In addition to the jail time and probation, Pullos must complete a nine-month program focused on drunk driving prevention and attend sessions organized by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). Melnick stated that his client will also continue with private counseling.

The actress was arrested in April 2023 following a severe collision on a Los Angeles freeway. Authorities report that Pullos was driving in the wrong direction when she crashed into another vehicle, causing significant injuries to both herself and the other driver, as well as extensive property damage.

The impact was so severe that emergency responders had to use specialized equipment to extract Pullos from her vehicle. Both Pullos and the other driver, identified as Courteney Wilder, required hospitalization for their injuries.

Initially, Pullos left the scene of the accident. When police located her, they determined she was under the influence of alcohol. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office subsequently filed multiple charges against the actress, including felony counts of driving under the influence, causing injury and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08% or higher causing injury. She also faced a misdemeanor charge for leaving the scene of an accident resulting in property damage.

The incident marked a significant downturn for Pullos, who had been a familiar face on General Hospital since 2009, portraying the character Molly Lansing-Davis.
