Jessa Duggar is pregnant with her fifth child with her husband, Ben Seewald, a year after dealing with a miscarriage. She announced the news in a YouTube video.
“After a heartbreaking loss of our baby last year. Just this past week, we found out some wonderful news that our rainbow baby is on the way, and we couldn’t be more excited,” she said.
Duggar recalled the heartbreaking news about the miscarriage, saying that she had a “hollow feeling inside.” However, she has found comfort in her Christian faith, saying she’ll “meet this little one in heaven one day.”
The fifth child will join Fern, Ivy, Spurgeon and Henry as a part of Jessa and Ben’s family.
However, some fans speculate that Jessa’s announcement was strategic, as the vlog was released just before her sister Jill Duggar’s memoir release, Counting the Cost, which is due to be released on September 12.
