Britney Spears To Millie Bobby Brown: ‘Dude I’m Not Dead!’
Britney Spears is clapping back at Millie Bobby Brown after she floated the possibility of playing her in a biopic.
“I hear about people wanting to do movies about my life … dude I’m not dead!!!” Spears wrote this in a social media caption.
On an episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, Brown answered a question about who she would most like to play.
“I think for me, [it] would be Britney Spears,” she responded.

The actor known for her role in Stranger Things added that “when I look at pictures of her, I feel like I could tell her story in the right way and hers only.”
This controversy is confusing because back in 2013, Spears was asked about who could play her in a biopic. The singer answered that she wanted Natalie Portman to get the role.
Fans of Spears came to Brown’s defense, one telling her, “We love you Britney ❤️ Also, I think Millie Bobby Brown meant it as a compliment that she wanted to play you in a movie and that she’d honor you properly, don’t be offended Queen! ❤️✨️.”
Another fan left a comment minus the emojis. “Care to explain why you think you need to be dead for someone to portray you in a movie? Ray Charles was still living when Jamie Foxx filmed Ray. Loretta Lynn was still living in 1980 when Sissy Spacek filmed The Coal Miner’s Daughter. She sadly passed a month ago, yet the movie based on her life was created 40 years ago. Millie Bobby Brown is a fan and supporter of you and she does not deserve this kind of shade.”
A third fan wrote, “You need to stop and remember who your true enemies are; your relatives & those that worked for them.”
In the same post where Spears showed her offense at Brown’s comments, she took time to call out her family for the conservatorship that ended a year ago.
“It’s funny the same two people who gave me life are the same exact 2 people who took it away But guess what !!! I’m alive and I’m breathing again !!!”
Spears has been criticizing her family a lot of late, specifically her mother and father, Lynne and Jamie Spears.
In the past few months, Spears has posted multiple dance videos and nude photos of herself.
