Beauty Influencer Juliana Rocha Dies At 25 After Mysterious Disappearance From Social Media
Brazilian influencer and makeup artist Juliana Rocha has died at the age of 25. Rocha was known for her beauty tips and makeup reviews online.
She had gained over 260,000 followers on TikTok and more than 188,000 on Instagram before her death.
In addition to makeup, Rocha also advised her audience on nails, clothes and hairstyles.
She had recently disappeared from the internet for a while, leaving many fans to wonder what had happened to her. Her last post was on August 25.
Her family posted an Instagram story, letting Rocha’s followers know she had died.
“It is with deep regret and sadness that Juliana Rocha’s family informs you, her audience, and people who loved her that she has died,” they wrote.
They also held a funeral for her last month that included just family and friends.
The cause of her death remains unknown.
Thiago Mello, claiming to be a friend of the family, confirmed the rumors on Instagram, “I’m in shock. Unfortunately, it’s true, people. Juliana was battling leukemia.”
The family has yet to confirm or deny anything regarding Rocha’s death.
Hello Folks, a Brazilian marketing agency that managed Rocha, created an Instagram story for the beauty influencer.
“Juliana’s presence and influence will always be remembered, not just by us but by her entire audience. Rest in peace, Ju, and may your light continue to shine in our hearts,” they wrote.
Rocha also worked with Pink 21 Cosmetics and collaborated with them on a video.
The label commented, “We were very saddened by the news, Ju was an incredible partner, extremely dedicated and talented. We convey to family and colleagues our feelings and prayers at this time.”
There were also many friends and family who posted their grievances online, including Priscila Paulo, who wrote, “I can’t believe you’re gone, but wherever you are, you’ll be in a good place. Rest in peace, Ju. You will always be remembered.”
