Ariana Grande & Mother Joan Grande Granted Restraining Order Against Trespasser

Singer Ariana Grande and her mother, Joan Grande, have been granted a restraining order against, Fidel Henriquez, a man who was caught trespassing on Grande’s property two months ago. 

The judge in the case has instructed Henriquez to stay at least 100 yards away from Grande and her mother and to stay away from their homes and cars. In addition, Henriquez cannot contact Grande in any other form such as via telephone or social media. 

On March 14, Henriquez was able to get onto the property by following a delivery truck and was allegedly rummaging through the trash before knocking on the front door. A property manager opened the door, and Henriquez asked for Grande with a love note for her in his hands. The police were then called, and Henriquez was arrested.

A LAPD spokesperson told E! News that when Henriquez was taken into police custody he “became irate and spat at the officers.” Henriquez was charged with misdemeanor trespassing and felony battery for spitting on an officer. Joan stated that the note authorities found “expressed a desire to threat and kill [her] daughter, Ariana Grande–Butera. I am fearful for my safety and for my daughter’s safety.”  

While there has been no comment from Grande, she has made comments about the coronavirus pandemic and those breaking the stay-at-home orders. “it is incredibly dangerous and selfish to take this situation that lightly,” the singer said. “The ‘we will be fine because we are young’ mindset is putting people who aren’t young and/or healthy in a lot of danger. You sound stupid and privileged and need to care more about others.”

Grande has also announced that she is creating a collaborative song with singer, Justin Bieber, titled “Stuck with U,” where proceeds will be donated to coronavirus relief.
