Pax Jolie-Pitt, 20, son of Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, was hospitalized Monday following an electric bicycle accident in Los Angeles.
The incident occurred around 5 p.m. at the intersection of Hobart and Los Feliz Boulevard. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, emergency services responded to a call involving an electric bicycle colliding with a stationary vehicle at a red light.
Witnesses say Jolie-Pitt, who was not wearing a helmet at the time, sustained a significant head injury in the collision. He also reportedly experienced pain in his hip area. Paramedics at the scene found the young man conscious and responsive before transporting him to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
As of Monday evening, family representatives stated that Jolie-Pitt’s condition had stabilized, and he was expected to be discharged soon. Authorities have ruled out any criminal activity in the accident, confirming that neither driving under the influence nor a hit-and-run scenario were factors in the incident.
This event comes just weeks after Jolie-Pitt was seen dining with his mother, Angelina Jolie, 49, at the popular West Hollywood restaurant Sushi Park on July 12. The mother-son outing highlighted the close relationship between Jolie and her children, even as the family navigates the aftermath of Jolie’s high-profile divorce from Brad Pitt, 60.
Pax is one of six children in the Jolie-Pitt family. His siblings include Maddox Chivan, 22; Zahara Marley, 19; Shiloh Nouvel, 18; and twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline, 16.
Pax is not a fan of his dad. On Father’s Day, he called Pitt “a despicable person” on social media.
