Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly set to sign a new deal at Al Nassr worth $3.9 million a week, confirming his status as the world’s highest-paid footballer.

Ronaldo, 39, rejoined Manchester United in 2021. Although the football star had a promising first season, he later criticized the club, owners and his manager – despite being the highest-paid member of the team.

Now, the Portugal native has received an astounding contract that would pay him $170 million per season for his contributions on-turf and an additional $51 million for work off the field.

According to reports from Saudi Media Al Khabar, Ronaldo plans to extend his contract with the Saudi club for one season.

While Ronaldo is an outstanding player on the field – scoring 75 goals in 84 matches since his arrival at Al Nassr – the footballer also knows how to play hard with his money.

The player and his family established roots in 2024 by purchasing a mansion in Al Muhammadiyah. While Ronaldo is based in Saudi Arabia for most of the year, the family home is only one of several he owns.

In 2021, Ronaldo invested in a property on the Portuguese Riviera with the dream of building a “hospital-sized” mansion in Quinta da Marinha.

The home is set to include a giant glass swimming pool with an underwater walkway and a 1,000-square-foot master bedroom.

The project is believed to be Portugal’s most expensive property development.

Aside from property investments, Ronaldo’s taste for aviation is also exquisite. In 2024, the super-star sold the G200 he bought for over $16 million and upgraded to a Global Express 6500 jet worth $63 million. In 2022, he received a $300,000 Rolls Royce from his partner Georgina Rodriguez.

Ronaldo’s extensive car collection has expanded as well. He purchased a dark blue Ferrari Purosangue worth $415,000. His most expensive car is a limited-edition Bugatti Centodieci worth $8.8 million.
