Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese soccer superstar who plays for the Spanish club Real Madrid, was awarded the prestigious Golden Shoe at Madrid's Intercontinental Hotel Friday. The trophy is presented annually to the player from European leagues with the most goals. Ronaldo finished with 40 this past season to earn his second Golden Shoe. The world-renowned star is one of the highest paid players in European leagues and is currently dating Russian model Irina Shayk, who was present at the ceremony.
