After the success of Cougar Town, Courteney Cox is taking another stab at a TV series. Cox will star next as a widow who who inherits her late billionaire husband’s charity instead of his money.
Cox is also the executive producer of the upcoming series and written by former The Office writer-producer Robert Padnick. ABC Studios and 20th Century Fox Television will produce the pilot.
Fox has ordered the Charity Case pilot, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Her old Friends’ co-stars have also landed some TV spots including Matt LeBlanc in BBC’s Top Gear, Matthew Perry starred on The Odd Couple remake and Lisa Kudrow in The Comeback. David Schwimmer is currently starring in The People V OJ Simpson.
