Courteney Cox Shares Video With Boyfriend Johnny McDaid On Romantic Italian Vacation

Courteney Cox is living it up on her romantic Italian break. On September 4, she shared a video on Instagram of herself zooming in a boat on the Amalfi coast. “Learning to drive in Ireland and on the open seas. Not good at either, but I ain’t worried ‘bout it…. my instructor was hot,” the Friends actress, 58, captioned the post.

The “hot instructor” she was referring to was her long-term boyfriend Johnny McDaid. At the end of the video, fans can see photos of the couple sharing a cuddle and smiling for the camera.

Cox was previously married to David Arquette from 1999 to 2013. The former couple share custody of their 18-year-old daughter Coco.

Cox has been dating the Snow Patrol rocker since 2013. The pair were introduced by mutual friend, British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, and got engaged after nine months together in 2014. They called off their engagement in November 2015 and then reunited in 2016. Their nine-year relationship has been going strong after the split. The stars frequently gush about each other in interviews and share sweet moments on social media.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Cox and McDaid were forced to date long-distance and have been separated for over 200 days since March 2020 due to travel bans and quarantine restrictions. The couple finally reunited after nine months apart in December 2020.

Cox looks happy and cozy in the video, proving she entered her happiest period ever.

She recently has expressed her contentment with the peaceful and balanced life now.

“I would say I’m more settled,” she told People. “I’m more comfortable. I’m really happy with work… I feel more confident and more relaxed than I was.”
