Country singer Brantley Gilbert’s son seems destined for the spotlight after he made his grand entrance in the most rockstar way possible—right on his dad’s tour bus during a show. The country singer-songwriter shared the news on Instagram, revealing the surprising turn of events during his performance in Tupelo, Mississippi, on Friday night.

In an Instagram video post, Gilbert is seen leaving the stage and heading into his tour bus, where his wife, Amber, had just given birth. Overwhelmed with joy, Gilbert quickly called his mom to share the news.

“Amber just had the baby in the bus!” Gilbert exclaimed, full of praise for his wife. “She’s a f—ing savage.”

Despite the life-changing moment, the show wasn’t over. After the call, Gilbert rushed back onstage to finish his performance, triumphantly telling the crowd, “We got a baby!” Fans erupted into cheers as Gilbert celebrated the birth with his bandmates.

“So last night might have been the craziest night of my life. Watching such an amazing woman do such an amazing thing is something I’ll never forget,” Gilbert reflected on the wild night in the caption of his Instagram post.

“Thank you to our road family for rallying around us, Brittany Thornton for helping us bring this little dude into the world, Tupelo, Mississippi, for showing us mad love and support, and most of all… Amber Gilbert, for letting me love you and showing me EXACTLY how incredibly strong a woman can be. I love you.”

Brantley and Amber announced their pregnancy back in May on Mother’s Day, sharing a sonogram photo. The couple, who already have two children—six-year-old Barrett and five-year-old Braylen—revealed their newborn’s name in another Instagram post: Abram Howell Gilbert.
