Conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair, who has claimed to have given birth to Elon Musk‘s 13th child, has recently opened up about her whirlwind romance.

St. Clair, 26, described the billionaire as being “funny” and “down to earth” but claimed that he wanted to keep their child a secret for everyone’s safety. However, St. Clair revealed that the child is happy and healthy.

“My child is the most perfect thing that happened to me; I wouldn’t change a thing,” St. Clair told The New York Post. Musk has yet to acknowledge the child, instead making numerous unrelated posts on his X account since his alleged lover made the announcement Friday.

“Ashley and Elon have been privately working towards the creation of an agreement about raising their child for some time,” representative Brian Glicklich said in a statement on X. “It is disappointing that a tabloid reporter, who repeatedly ambushed Ashely and her family, made it impossible to complete that process confidentially.”

“We are waiting for Elon to publicly acknowledge his parental role with Ashley, to end unwarranted speculation, and Ashley trusts Elon intends to finish their agreement quickly, in the best interests of the wellbeing and security of the child they share.”

According to St. Clair, she and Musk crossed paths on the platform in May 2023. “Musk was funny. He was smart. He was very down to earth. It started with X interactions, and he slid into my DMs. I think it was a meme.”

At the time, St. Clair didn’t show much interest in Musk other than his acquisition of Twitter. She first became aware of the billionaire from her friend, who frequently asked her to watch videos of Musk’s SpaceX rocket launches.

During her pregnancy, St. Clair said she was restricted from telling more than a close-knit circle of people about the child.

“I was told to keep it a secret, and I was being asked to keep it a secret forever,” St. Clair claimed, declining a reason for the confidentiality or any proof that Musk is the biological father. “I was completely isolated during my pregnancy. Every part of my career and everything I used to do, I couldn’t do anymore. I was told not to tell anybody.”

Despite the drama and hard decisions she has made, St. Clair is at peace with her decision to publicly announce her child and hopes that that revelation will allow her to give her baby a normal life.
